From the end of 2018 to the start of 2019 we have conducted college visits in North West Colleges who study painting and decorating.
Our aims were to inform the next generation of painters and decorators about the Brush Mate brand and how our products can make their lives easier.
As we conducted successful College visits at the end of 2017 we decided to make these visits an annual occurrence!
What did we talk about?
After introducing ourselves to the students, we gave an in-depth talk about all of the Brush Mate products.
Informing the students of how the products work, when they would use them in their career and approximate prices.
This gave the students the opportunity to ask any questions they might have about Brush Mate.
What did the students gain out of the College Visits?
We believe the students will have gained vital knowledge about products that will enhance their careers as painters & decorators, but don’t just take our word for it. Here are what some of the students & tutors have to say about it:
“I really enjoyed the short talk on Brush Mate. I wasn’t really sure whether it would benefit me but now I know it’s definitely the way forward for me as a new decorator starting out” – Lance Williams, Student @ Wirral Met College
“It was really interesting to hear about the development of the classically timeless Brush Mate 20 in recent years and how they have listened to the community with product updates” – Simon Dewhurst, Head of Curriculum P&D @ Southport College
“Very informative, the apprentices immediately understood the benefit of Brush Mate – no more plastic bags or buckets of water!” – Stephen Humphries, P&D Tutor @ Liverpool College
“Brush Mate offers a very important product that is just as relevant now as it has been for decades. As the painting and decorating industry changes, it is very important for young decorators to be aware of all Brush Mate products available, that can only enhance their own performance” – Christopher Welford, P&D Tutor @ The Manchester College
